Terms and Conditions for submissions to the Citizens’ Assembly on Drugs Use.
- Only submissions received through the online submission form can be considered as part of the public consultation process.
- Anonymous submissions will not be accepted.
- All valid submissions will be published on www.citizensassembly.ie including full names (first name, surname and name of organisation, if applicable).
- Personal information, including names, may be redacted if requested or required under relevant legislation.
- Contact information including email address, address and phone number will be collected to verify submissions. This information will not be published.
- Submissions that are deemed to be offensive, inappropriate or not relevant to the work of the Assembly may be deemed invalid.
- Content from the submissions may be cited or quoted in reports prepared for Assembly meetings.
- Review of submissions will be subject to legal considerations including:
- Data Protection legislation;
- Prohibition of Incitement to Hatred Act 1989;
- Harassment, Harmful Communications and Related Offences Act 2020;
- Defamation Act 2009.
